As a designer at Whitespace, I get to collaborate, brainstorm and create with our talented team members. Together, we produce creative marketing campaigns, engaging social media content, merchandise, and a wide variety of printed solutions for clients of all shapes and sizes.
I started my career at Whitespace as a designer on the American Greetings team, where I utilized my creativity and software knowledge to design card layouts, prepare decorative finishings such as hot stamps and die cuts, set typography, and ensure printing accuracy by analyzing file structures.
I have a passion for learning that I fuel by staying up to date with software and new production techniques. I investigate each project so that I make design choices that communicate the client’s ideas into visually appealing images, symbols, and informative layouts. I have a structured design process that is very important to the way I work because it quickly leads me to creative solutions.
My background includes graduating with honors, Cum Laude, from The University of Akron with a B.F.A. in Graphic Design and working as a graphic designer for a Postnet while I was in school.
When I’m not at WhiteSpace, I’m at home with my wife and our dog, Whiskey. In our free time we travel, make homemade pizza, brew beer, and play music. As a former college rugby athlete, I’m still very involved with the rugby community and currently play for Akron Women’s Rugby.
